Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi International airport. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative, after a traditional ‘Swagat’ our representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel for overnight stay. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you.

Day 02: Delhi

Delhi,The political capital of India. today the city has transformed itself into a new incarnation. Reflecting the many colors and flavors of India’s eclectic composition, contemporary Delhi is one where you will be inspired, amazed, fascinated and impressed at every corner.

Morning Post Breakfast we will start our Guided city tour of Delhi including “Qutab Minar” The construction of the Qutab Minar was started by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi in 1200 AD. “India Gate” Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931 the gate is 160 ft. high and has a 138 ft arch. “Rashtrapati Bhawan” Formerly the Vice- regal Lodge, the building is the presidential palace. “Lotus Temple” the Famous Temple in the shape of Lotus. We will also visit Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The Tour Continues with the Raj Ghat, related to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948 and The Red Fort Built by Red sand Stone.

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (260 Km / 5 Hrs)

Morning Post Breakfast, Check out from the Hotel and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur Transfer and check inn into the Hotel.

Optional: – An evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, ethnic village resort located at a distance of 15 km from
Jaipur. Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground & includes the entertainment by folk dancers & musicians.

Day 04: Jaipur

Morning Post Breakfast we will start our Guided Tour of Jaipur including “Amber Fort” is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression,”City Palace” A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city, “Jantar Mantar” (Solar Observatory), This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country, “Hawa Mahal” The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies.

Day 05: Jaipur – Agra (240 Km / 05 Hrs)

Morning Post Breakfast, Check out from the Hotel and drive to Agra. Upon arrival at Agra transfer and check inn into the Hotel. Enroute we will visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Agra is a medieval city on the banks of Yamuna River was founded by Sultan Sikandar Lodi in 1504. It achieved fame as the capital of the Mughal emperors from 1526 to 1658.

Fatehpur Sikri – Fatehpur Sikri, the location (35 km from Agra) where Emperor Akbar began the construction of his new Capital city following the fulfilling of a prophecy of being blessed by a male heir. Fatehpur Sikri also houses the tomb of the Sufi Saint Salim Chisti of Sikri who had made the prophecy. The site is well known for its spiritual atmosphere and qawaalis and offers the perfect retreat into a place where time stands still.

Day 06: Agra – Delhi (220 Km / 4.30 Hrs)

Morning Post Breakfast we will start our Guided city Tour of Agra including ”The Taj Mahal” The most popular sight in Agra is undoubtedly the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj is one of the most achingly beautiful architectural achievements in the world, and is considered to be a symbol of enduring love.”Agra Fort” that was constructed by Emperor Akabar in 1565 A.D and includes many other buildings like the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj, where Shah Jahan is believed to have been imprisoned and died.

Day 07: Delhi – Amritsar (By Shatbdi Exp@ 07.40 – 13.25 hrs)

Morning Post breakfast, Check out from the Hotel and Departure to the Railway Station to Board the Train to Amritsar. Upon arrival at Amritsar, transfer and Check inn into the Hotel.

In Hindi the word Amritsar means ‘a Holy pool of nectar’ and it was back in the year 1573 that work for digging the Holy pool had begun. One of the ancient cities of India, the most important fact about Amritsar is that it is the main seat of Sikh history and culture. The city itself was founded by the Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, and till present times it is the spiritual and temporal center of Sikh culture

Later late in the afternoon we drive 10 Kms to “Wagha Border” one of the most attractive destination of Amritsar, People visit this place in large numbers to witness the lowering down of the flags of both countries. The only post, where a special parade is organized to lower the flags simultaneously from the flag poles in the evening, beams with activity. The flag lowering ceremony, better known as the ‘Retreat’ is performed every day, shortly before sunset, by Border Security Force (BSF) jawans on the Indian side and Pakistan Rangers on the other side.

Day 08: Amritsar

Morning Post Breakfast, we will Start our Guided city Tour of Amritsar, we will visit “The Golden Temple”, it is the most sacred temple of the Sikhs built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The lower portion of the temple displays white marble inlay work and the upper portion is embellished with copper coated over by gold plate. Later we will visit “Jallian Walan Memorial”, it is memory of martyrs-13 April, 1919″ has been inscribed in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and English. Then we will visit “Durgiana Temple” Situated outside the Hathi Gate Durgiana Mandir is largest Hindu Temple in the city. This temple is devoted to goddess Durga and dates back to 16th century.
