Day 01: – Arrive Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi International airport. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative, after a traditional ‘Swagat’ our representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel.

Delhi, The political capital of India. today the city has transformed itself into a new incarnation. Reflecting the many colors and flavors of India’s eclectic composition, contemporary Delhi is one where you will be inspired, amazed, fascinated and impressed at every corner.

Morning Post Breakfast we will start our Guided city tour of Delhi including “Qutab Minar” The construction of the Qutab Minar was started by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi in 1200 AD. “India Gate” Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931 the gate is 160 ft. high and has a 138 ft arch. “Rashtrapati Bhawan” Formerly the Vice-regal Lodge, the building is the presidential palace. “Lotus Temple” the Famous Temple in the shape of Lotus. We will also visit Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The Tour Continues with the Raj Ghat, related to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948 and The Red Fort Built by Red sand Stone and
Akarshardham.

Day 02: – Delhi – Haridwar (By Shatbdi Exp@ 06.50 – 11.20 hrs)

Morning Post Breakfast, Check out from the Hotel and Departure to the Railway Station to Board the Train to Haridwar. Upon arrival at Haridwar, Transfer and Check inn into the Hotel.

Haridwar is on the banks of River Ganges & located at the foothills of the lower Himalayan Range of the Shivalik mountains. When the Ganges leaves the mountains & enters the plains, Haridwar is the first major town on the plains. Though the Ganges does not lose its rapids completely, nevertheless it becomes very quiet & calm here. Haridwar has earned fame as being the place, which has been blessed by the trinity of the Lords Shiva, Vishnu & Brahma.

In the evening enjoy the spectacular view of ‘Aarti’ at Har ki Pauri.

Day 03: – Haridwar – Rishikesh (25 Km / 30 min)

Morning Post Breakfast, We will Start our Guided City tour of Haridwar including Mansa Devi Temple is a sacred spot where the temple of goddess Shakti has special mythological significance. Chandi Devi Temple Created in 1929 A.D. by the king of Kashmir, Suchat Singh, it worships Goddess Chandi. The Bharat Mata Mandir is devoted to Mother India. Partly temple and partly nation building exercise, it has seven storeys that house deities of saints, and secular heroes of all Indian religions and Daksha Mahadev Temple Legend has it, that Daksh Prajapati, Sati’s father, performed a yagna at this place to which he did not invite Lord Shiva. Sati, feeling insulted, consequently, burnt herself in the Yagna Kund.

Day 04: – Rishikesh S/S

Rishikesh, a very important Hindu pilgrimage site. Its also a cluster of Ashrams & temples giving the entire place a spiritual feeling. The ceaseless flow of the river, regarded as Goddess Ganga adds to the beauty & the purity of the place. Along the river, area is filled with thick green forests in the all- mountainous region. Rishikesh is famous for its yoga sessions that are taught here by many yoga experts. Besides the sadhus & saints, a mass of tourists too visit here every year to have a look at this much heard place.

Morning Post Breakfast, we will start our Guided city Tour of Rishikesh and Haridwar including Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and ashrams. In the evening enjoy the spectacular view of ‘Aarti’ at Rishikesh.

Day 05: – Rishikesh – Joshimath (252 Km / 08 hrs)

Joshimath is a hill station located at an altitude of 6,000 ft in the Chamoli district. It lies in the mountain slopes above the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Joshimath is a mesmerizing place with lovely and eye catching views of the snow mountains, greenery and pleasant weather conditions. Joshimath is also known as Jyotirmath. It is one of the four great ‘maths’ established by the Adi Guru Shri Shankaracharya in the 8th century AD.

Day 06: – Joshimath – Badrinath (55 Km / 02 hrs)

Badrinath, Guarded on either side by the two mountains Nar and Narayan, the Neelkanth Peak provides a splendid backdrop to Badrinath. According to legend Shankara discovered a black stone image of Lord Badrinarayan made of  Saligram  stone in the  Alaknanda River . He originally enshrined it in a cave near the Tapt Kund hot springs. In the sixteenth century, the King of Garhwal moved the  murti  to the present temple. The temple has undergone several major renovations because of age and damage by avalanche. In the 17th century, the temple was expanded by the kings of Garhwal. After significant damage in the great 1803 Himalayan earthquake, it was rebuilt by the King of Jaipur.

Day 07: – Badrinath – Mana Village – Monal

This village, referred to as the last village of India on the Indo-Tibet border, has been designated as a ‘tourism village’ by the government.

Day 08: – Monal – Kausani

Kausani, Situated at 6,075 ft above sea level, this small and peaceful hill-station is known for its unspoilt natural beauty and 300 km-wide views of the Himalayan snow-peaks. The place also holds importance because Mahatma Gandhi stayed here for a long stretch in 1929. Kausani offers several vantage points from where you can enjoy the views of Himalayan peaks such as Trishul, Nanda Devi and Nandakot.

Day 09: – Kausani – Patal Bhubneshwar

Morning Post Breakfast, we will Satrt our City tour of Kausani including Anashakti Ashram is Kausani’s landmark where Mahatma Gandhi stayed. Once a tea estate, the ashram is now converted into a research centre and a library. A Gandhi Memorial has been erected in the ashram and evening prayers are conducted daily. Baijnath and Bageshwar are famous temples a few hours driving distance away from the town. You can also make Kausani your base and visit the other destinations of this region, such as Ranikhet , Almora , Binsar and Multeshwar.

Day 10: – Patal Bhubaneshwar – Jageshwar – Almora

Morning Post Breakfast, We will Visit the Caves in Patal Bhubneshwar. Limestone rock formations have created various spectacular stalactite and stalagmite figures of various hues and forms. This cave has a narrow tunnel-like opening which leads to a number of caves. The cave is fully electrically illuminated. There is a folklore that the Pandava brothers passed their time here during banishment. It is built due to the flow of water. It cut the rocks in such a fascinating way that it looks like that any artist had made those entire statues within the cave & on its wall. It has some cave opening and it is believed that these opening will be close as the centuries pass on.

After That Check out From the hotel and Drive to Almora. Enroute Visit Jageshwar, nearly 200 temples built in honor of Shiva Mahadeva. They are very sacred centers for the worship of Shiva and are said to have tantric powers too.

Day 11: – Almora – Raniket

Morning Post Breakfast, we will start our Guided city tour. Ranikhet offers wonderful views of the Western Himalayas. Ranikhet also presents stunning view of the Nanda Devi. Chaubatia Gardens is large orchard that is spread over an area of 265 acres. Ranikhet is popular for two of its temples. Jhoola Devi Ka Mandir was constructed some 400 years ago in honor of the local Goddess, who protected the people from man-eating tigers. The other important temple is Kali Devi ka Mandir, which has a large number of bells. The site of the temple is believed to be 5000 years old.
